Black History Month unites NWSL, Black Women’s Player Collective, Cross Colours, and Round21 for Black History Month Capsule
Launches February 5, 2026
Los Angeles, CA — For Black History Month 2026, National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) & the Black Women’s Player Collective (BWPC) have collaborated with Round21 and heritage streetwear icon Cross Colours to introduce a special-edition capsule collection.
More than a commemorative release, the five-piece capsule serves as a cultural signal, reflecting how culture is shaped not only on the field, but in the everyday spaces where identity, style, and connection take form.
In that same spirit, a portion of wholesale sales will be donated to the Black Women’s Player Collective to support ongoing programming and investing in the future of the game.
The capsule includes:
The All Game Scarf — A statement accessory featuring bold iconography and a vibrant Pan-African colorblocking that establishes the partnership between Round21, NWSL, BWPC, and Cross Colours
The All Game Tee — A tribute to cultural pride and community-building, designed with a vintage wash and striking artwork.
The BWPC League Tee — A heavyweight vintage shadow gray boxy cut t-shirt created as a canvas for Cross Colours' enduring Clothing Without Prejudice ethos and a statement of solidarity between NWSL, BWPC, and Round21
The Our Colors Coach Jacket — A 6 oz lightweight jacket drawing from Cross Colours' legacy of Clothing Without Prejudice and the ongoing leadership of Black women shaping the future of soccer
The Unity Hoodie — A premium, 12.5 oz heavyweight hoodie representing solidarity and representation between the league, the players, and culture, and our shared belief that connection and representation don't stop when the match ends
Founded by a woman of color, Round21 approached this collection as a statement of solidarity across sport, fashion and culture. In close partnership with the BWPC, Cross Colours, and NWSL, the collection recognizes Black influence not as history—but as the future of women’s soccer. This collection honors the leadership, creativity, and cultural imprint Black women are making as they actively define what the future of the game looks like.
“As a collective that spans women’s professional leagues across the globe, we continue to value partnerships that celebrate trailblazers,” said Executive Director Imani Dorsey “Our organization was created to build pathways and demonstrate the value a connected ecosystem brings to the culture of soccer. This capsule is a powerful way to showcase the progress each organization has made in growing the game at every level.”
“Sports culture doesn’t stop when the game ends,” said Round21 founder, Jasmine Maietta. “This capsule exists to deepen connection—between players and fans, history and future, sport and self-expression.”
The collection is available Thursday, February 5, 2026, at NWSLShop.com, Round21.com, Gotham FC, Washington Spirit, Bay FC, Boston Legacy FC, and Houston Dash online stores.
